Today, the Princess showcased a blend of classic and contemporary fashion during her visit to a local baby bank.
She attended an event at Sebby’s Corner in North London, a baby bank that has assisted over 5,000 families since its inception in January 2021.
The Princess was photographed with Bianca Sakol, the founder of Sebby’s Corner (center), and Emma Parker (left), the operations manager.
Her visit aimed to promote a new initiative by The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood, designed to support families with young children during the festive season.
The Princess expressed her concerns about the challenging times families face during the holiday season and highlighted the importance of making the 250 baby banks across the country more visible and accessible.
She encouraged the public to contribute through donations, volunteering, or providing pre-loved items to support these vital community resources.
During her visit, the Princess engaged with a mother who has been supported by Sebby’s Corner, discussing the impact and importance of the assistance provided by the baby bank.
Jennifer, a mother helped by the facility, shared her emotional first visit to the center, emphasizing the relief and gratitude she felt due to the support provided.
The Princess also met with volunteers and staff, as well as representatives from the Baby Bank Alliance. In attendance was Giovanna Fletcher, a champion of the Shaping Us campaign, known for her work as an author and podcast host.
During the event, the Princess participated in restocking the Sebby’s Corner Christmas pop-up shop, which allows parents to pick out gifts for their children at no cost.
This unique initiative is expected to distribute over 4,000 new gifts to families in need during the upcoming weeks.
Among the items donated by the Princess were fifty copies of the children’s book “The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark,” a personal favorite of her family.
The Princess has previously read this book during Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week, highlighting its significance in her family’s life.
In a discussion with representatives from various baby banks across the UK, the Princess talked about the growing demand for their services, emphasizing the need for these organizations to be more visible and accessible within the community.
“Every child deserves the basic essentials,” she stated, urging for baby banks to be integrated more deeply into community services.
For her visit, the Princess chose a stylish ensemble featuring a coat believed to be the ‘Ezor’ by Sportmax, paired with a suede skirt from Really Wild, enhancing her elegant and approachable look.
Her accessories included a pair of Gianvito Rossi boots and a Polo Ralph Lauren belt, complemented by her hair styled down and subtle yet sophisticated makeup.
She completed her look with Rhodochrosite Gold Mini Pyramid Charm Hoops from Missoma, adding a touch of refined elegance to her outfit.
