Today, the Princess of Wales opted for a classic Chanel ensemble for her public appearance alongside the Prince of Wales.
The royal couple marked the decade milestone of Coach Core by visiting the Copper Box Arena at Queen Elizabeth II Olympic Park, where they were greeted by Sir Ken Olisa, OBE, the Lord Lieutenant of London.
Initiated in July 2012, Coach Core was established following the London riots, aiming to perpetuate the spirit of the 2012 London Olympic and Paralympic Games. The initiative not only seeks to develop high-quality sports coaches but also aims to mold these individuals into confident and influential community figures.
Embodying the 2012 Olympic spirit, the initiative was driven by the devastating impact of the London riots and a report by the Centre for Social Justice, which highlighted the transformative power of sports in young lives.
During their visit in November 2017, the Duke and Duchess engaged with Coach Core apprentices, demonstrating their commitment to the program by participating in various sports activities.
The royal trio, including Prince Harry, showed their support for Coach Core during an event in London in October 2017, further highlighting their dedication to sports and youth empowerment.
In October 2018, the Duke and Duchess continued their support by attending a Coach Core event in Essex, showcasing their ongoing commitment to the program.
Today’s event also included engaging activities where the Prince and Princess interacted with young participants, highlighting the positive impact of Coach Core on the community.
The Princess of Wales, known for her elegant style, chose a vintage Chanel blazer for the occasion, paired with Roland Mouret Axon trousers and Gianvito Rossi Piper pumps, exemplifying her sophisticated yet accessible fashion sense.
Her choice of accessories included a Stila Lapis Pendant by Astley Clarke and Spells of Love Medium Twist Hoops, adding a subtle yet striking touch to her outfit.
Today’s visit not only commemorated the tenth anniversary of Coach Core but also highlighted the royal couple’s unwavering support for initiatives that foster community development and youth empowerment through sports.
