Upon their arrival in Boston, marking the start of their US journey, the couple was seen descending the aircraft stairs.

Their flight via British Airways touched down just past 2pm at Boston’s Logan Airport, where they were greeted by Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker.
Also present to welcome them were Massachusetts First Lady Lauren Baker and Lieutenant Governor Karyn Polito.
Passengers on the same flight expressed their surprise and delight at traveling with royalty, noting the heightened security and boarding delays at London’s Heathrow Airport.

Upon their arrival at City Hall, they were welcomed by Boston’s Mayor Michelle Wu and her family.
The Prince expressed his gratitude to Mayor Wu and the resilient Bostonians for their support of the Earthshot Prize Awards, emphasizing the significance of the event and its connection to President Kennedy’s historic Moonshot speech.
The Prince also highlighted the shared spirit of innovation and leadership between the event and the legacy of President Kennedy.
Following his speech, the royals joined Mayor Wu and Governor-Elect Healey in a ceremonial lighting of City Hall in green, symbolizing their commitment to environmental sustainability.
Several prominent buildings in Boston, including the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum, were also illuminated in green to honor the occasion.
