Celebrating Prince Louis’s Fifth Birthday!
On the eve of Prince Louis’s fifth birthday, Kensington Palace shared two delightful snapshots of the young prince, captured by Millie Pilkington, who also photographed the private moments of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding. For more details, see The Daily Mail’s coverage.
In one charming photo, Prince Louis is seen perched on a heap of garden trimmings in the serene setting of Adelaide Cottage in Windsor, the family’s residence.
Kate and William expressed their joy in sharing these lively snapshots of their youngest son.
Here’s a glimpse of all three royal children in their respective fifth birthday portraits.
Another cherished family photograph was unveiled yesterday, coinciding with what would have been Queen Elizabeth II’s 97th birthday. Captured by the Princess of Wales, it features the late Queen surrounded by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren at Balmoral Castle.
The photograph mirrors a similar one taken in 2018, showcasing the Queen and Prince Philip with their great-grandchildren.

The Prince and Princess of Wales recently visited Birmingham to immerse themselves in the city’s rich cultural tapestry. Their first stop was at The Indian Streatery, known for its fusion of traditional Indian street food and British flavors, which opened its doors in 2017.
The Indian Streatery initially thought it was a prank when they received a call from Buckingham Palace about the royal visit.
The visit was a celebration of Birmingham’s diverse culture, with the royals even participating in cooking activities.
During their visit, which is part of a broader tour ahead of the King’s coronation, William and Kate shared their fondness for curries, revealing that they often secretly visit various curry houses across the country.
William prefers milder flavors, describing himself as a “masala man,” while Kate enjoys spicier dishes, finding them nostalgic.
Their children also share their enthusiasm for Indian cuisine.
Prince William even took a moment to book a reservation for an unsuspecting diner, adding a humorous touch to their visit.
Caught in a moment of levity, William and Kate, along with the restaurant staff, couldn’t help but laugh after William successfully booked a table, ensuring he directed the customer to the correct location.
The royal couple also explored Birmingham’s historic Jewelry Quarter, engaging with local artisans and celebrating the area’s creative industries.
At The Rectory, overlooking the Jewellery Quarter, they met with local designers and artists, highlighting the significant contribution of the area to the UK’s jewelry production.
They also participated in an interactive dart game, adding a playful element to their visit.
TV presenter Alison Hammond, a Birmingham native, was present at the event and shared a cheerful selfie with the royal couple.
The visit concluded with a walkabout, where the Prince and Princess interacted warmly with the public, further endearing themselves to the local community.
Here’s what Kate wore: a trench-inspired pleated midi dress by Karen Millen, accessorized with Gianvito Rossi pumps and complemented by Sézane earrings and a Daniella Draper necklace.
As I recover from COVID, I look forward to bringing you more updates on the royal couple’s upcoming visit to Wales next week.
