The Princess of Wales, adorned in a striking outfit by Catherine Walker and Jane Taylor, commenced the state visit from the Republic of Korea.
This morning, the Prince and Princess of Wales greeted President Yoon Suk Yeol and First Lady Mrs. Kim Keon Hee at their hotel in central London, following the couple’s arrival last evening.
Later in the afternoon, the couples departed the hotel.
The royal couples then proceeded to Horse Guards Parade for a grand ceremonial welcome.
Rebecca English captured a video of the Princess ascending the pavilion steps.
This marks the first state visit hosted by the King since his coronation.

Following a private lunch at Buckingham Palace, the Royal Family and the President and First Lady viewed a special exhibition of items from the Royal Collection Trust related to the Republic of Korea.
The President and First Lady also visited Westminster Abbey, where a wreath was laid at the Grave of the Unknown Warrior.
Both the Queen and Princess of Wales wore the colors of the South Korean flag. The Queen was in a blue Anna Valentine coat and dress, with a Philip Treacy hat.
Kate revisited the Catherine Walker Beau Tie coat, possibly shortened from its last appearance at a 2021 Carol Concert. Underneath, she wore a matching dress.
The Princess styled her hair in an updo for the morning’s events but opted for a flowing hairstyle post-lunch.
Accessorizing, she chose a Jane Taylor hat resembling the Decima style and carried a Miu Miu suede shoulder bag, first seen during the 2016 Canada Tour.
She completed her look with Gianvito Rossi 105 heels and sapphire cabochon and diamond cluster earrings, a legacy from Diana, Princess of Wales.
